We’re a Government-approved training provider, on the Register of Apprenticeship Providers, and across all of our Bauer Academy training programmes we are committed to keeping learners safe.
What is Prevent?
We support the Government’s ‘Prevent’ anti-terrorist, anti-extremist programme, by being alert to any signs of radicalisation, extremism or intolerance. Prevent as a strategy takes many forms, and we ensure that we are aware of the most up to date threats through regular contact with Prevent’s team of regional co-ordinators.

What is Safeguarding?
Whilst ‘safeguarding’ might not be a term that you are familiar with, as an example, it’s a sad fact that at least half of all UK adults will be exposed to some kind of domestic abuse. Our teams are trained to spot the indicators of any type of neglect or abuse, in order that learners can get the help and support that they need, whether from our Bauer Academy safeguarding team, or if appropriate, via referrals to external agencies.

What are British Values?
We want to encourage all of our learners to become good British Citizens, following the five fundamental British Values
The 5 fundamental British Values are:
