The best leaders stopped giving answers – they started asking better questions.
Most of us default to telling, fixing, and advising – it feels helpful, and it’s quick. But the people who get the most out of others, and themselves, have learned a different approach.
Coaching isn’t just a management technique; it’s a way of thinking that transforms conversations, unlocks potential, and helps people move forward under their own steam. This coaching programme shows you how to make it part of how you work.
Is this for you?
This programme is a great fit if you:
- Are a people manager or team leader who wants to lead with more impact
- Want to have more effective, purposeful conversations at work
- Are curious about how a coaching approach can sharpen your own thinking and decisions
- Want practical tools you can start using straight away – not just theory
What you’ll cover in the Coaching Programme
The coaching course has three modules, each building on the last.
Module 1: Coaching Foundations
What coaching actually is, why it’s so much more powerful than advice-giving, and what gets in the way. You’ll build self-awareness, explore blind spots and biases, and learn how to create the conditions for better thinking through deeper listening and questions that genuinely open things up.
Module 2: Your Coaching Toolkit
Practical tools to put coaching into action including proven frameworks like GROW and TGROW, goal-setting techniques, and exercises that help people get clearer on what matters. You’ll also explore the stories and beliefs that shape our thinking, and how to spot the thinking traps that quietly hold us back.
Module 3: Coaching in Action
Where everything comes together. You’ll apply a coaching approach to a real challenge of your own, then explore how to coach others — giving feedback that opens thinking rather than closing it down, and bringing a coaching presence to everyday conversations.
What you’ll walk away with
- A clear understanding of what a coaching approach is and why it works
- Practical techniques – powerful questions, active listening, and simple frameworks – for more effective everyday conversations
- The ability to create coaching moments in the flow of work, helping others think clearly and take ownership
- A coaching lens for your own challenges, decisions and difficult situations
- Greater curiosity and less reaction – getting the best from yourself and the people around you
